Shabu-shabu using "Satsuma Rokurobuta" pork from Ibusuki, Kurobuta donburi, Satsuma Kurotori chicken sashimi, local fish sashimi, and other dishes that remind us of the Kagoshima region are available. On-tamaran donburi" with hot spring eggs is another popular local dish.

The restaurant is conveniently located a minute walk from Ibusuki Station and seats 40 people. All seats are non-smoking, and the restaurant has tatami rooms and private rooms where you can enjoy a meal in a relaxed atmosphere with a Japanese flair. Aoba began as a restaurant founded in May 1971 and has continued to operate in front of Ibusuki Station for many years. Taking advantage of its location near the station, Aoba welcomes both tourists and locals, and plays a part in the "hospitality" of Ibusuki with its culinary policy of bringing Kagoshima ingredients to the forefront.
